Fan Unit
The fan, or blower, is powered by a 4 cylinder diesel engine and both engines are fitted with an automatic safety shutdown.
The engine drives a ten bladed centrifugal type blower at 2600 rpm. The fans are constructed of abrasive resistant steel (Bisalloy). The fan (WhisperWheels™) is mounted on a twin bearing, long shaft that lies parallel with the engine crankshaft. The fan is driven by easily replaced V belts.
The fan housing is constructed of steel with a replaceable, heavy duty, corded rubber liner and is fitted with a vacuum enhancer for light/heavy material collection.
