Sweeper Head
The sweeper head (pick up unit) is a full width, blast orifice with dual chambers, the front chamber carrying a tunnel of air and the rear chamber providing the knife edge blast of air used to dislodge debris.
The sweeper head has adjustable spring balanced suspension and is fitted with double row tungsten skids. These large diameter hoses reduce the likelihood of blocking and are made of reinforced molded rubber.
Due to the absence of a main broom slung under the chassis, the Schwarze can sweep effectively in forward and reverse. This means that even when making tight turns or sweeping into dead end lanes, the sweeper is still working while reversing out of a position.
